[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]According to the project ”Asset Management Advisory Services to Water Utilities in South-Eastern Europe (SEEAM)”, the representatives of thematic centre ”Aquasan Network in B&H” held a meeting with management and delegated employees of PUC „Vodovod“ Ltd. Bihać, as well as with the representatives of competent departments of the Bihać City.

PUC „Vodovod“ Ltd. Bihać is one of the 10 companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina which participate in this regional program (SEEAM). From the beginning of the program implementation, the nominated representatives of PUC “Vodovod” Ltd. Bihać were trained for the work in the intended computer software EDAMS, and the training and the conversion of the existing data on the water supply network were performed.  In the upcoming period, the activities of the engaged employees of the PUC “Vodovod” Ltd. Bihać are directed towards the creation of the registry on infrastructure assets managed by the company through the field data collection on facilities and equipment installed in the water supply network and data entry into the computer software.

Due to the extraordinary significance of the adequate asset management, both for the PUC “Vodovod” Ltd. Bihać and for its founder – City of Bihać, Aquasan network in B&H organised mutual meeting in order to inform and involve the competent departments of the Bihać City in the development process of the infrastructure assets registry managed by the PUC “Vodovod” Ltd. Bihać. In the meeting, the members of Aquasan team together with the representatives of PUC determined the plan for field data collection on the infrastructure facilities and equipment in the water supply network and the way of entering the collected data into the EDAMS software.

After the meeting, field visits to facilities and elements on water supply system managed by PUC “Vodovod” Ltd. Bihać were organised and carried out. PUCs representatives are familiar with data collection procedures and trained for fulfilling data in the field forms.
