[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As part of the promotion of the project “Asset Management Advisory Services to Water Utilities in South-Eastern Europe” organized by AM UTVSI Center and with the support of GIZ, a presentation of the SEEAM project was held in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia.
The event was attended by 32 participants, out of which 18 representatives of 11 Water Utilities Companies from Serbia ( PUC Leskovac, PUC Belimarkovac Vrnjačka banja, PUC Vilin Lug Crna trava, PUC Aleksandrovac, PUC 3. Septembar Nova Varoš, PUC Komunalprojekt Bačka Palanka, PUC Vodovod Šabac, PUC Zrenjanin, PUC Smederevo, PUC Lim Prijepolje and PUC Sombor), mainly directors and managers of the company. Other participants are representatives of UTVSI, GIZ and Hydro-Comp Enterprises.
The opening speech was held by Mrs. Maja Medenica (UTVSI AM Centar), welcoming all the participants and highlighting the great importance of the project as well as the success of the current active participants in the project in the first phase of the project.
In front of the German agency for international cooperation – GIZ present was welcomed by Mr. David Abeler.
Mr. Aleksandar Šotić (AM UTVSI Center), presented the history of the project, project partners, and activities done so far. To PUC was presented and the examples of good practice and benefits of the AM methodology implementation.
It was followed by a detailed description of the project as well as the project activities and schedule of implementation by Mr. Petros Kovalopoulos (Hidro-Comp Enterprises)
Mr. Goran Jovanović (AM UTVSI Center) demonstrated Edams software and features and functionalities on the Cloud. Also, on the case of one of the companies active participants, he demonstrated the use of the program and its advanced function.
