[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Appointed representatives from 7 public utility companies (PUCs) met in Bihac on October 30th and 31st, 2018 to participate in the second advanced training on “GIS – Network Data Management”, within the project ”Asset Management Advisory Services to Water Utilities in South-Eastern Europe (SEEAM)”.

Public utility companies (PUCs) which participated in this training were: PUC “Vodovod” JSC Prnjavor, PUC “Radnik” Ltd. Zavidovici,  PUC “RAD” JSC Teslic, PUC “ViK” Ltd. Velika Kladusa, PUC “Komunalno Neum” ltd. Neum, PUC “Bobas” JSC Kotor Varos and  PUC “Buducnost” JSC Laktasi.

On that occasion, members of the “Aquasan network in BiH” thematic center and the PUCs’ teams discussed the challenges the companies encountered during the implementation of the Program, as well as achieved results and progress, after which practical work is carried out in the area of zoning management, reporting management, creating a hierarchy of complex elements of the water supply network through EDAMS software, and discussing the issue of data related to movable property of the PUCs.

In the period between training 1st and 2nd, appointed companies’ representatives worked on collecting and entering data about objects within the water supply network, solving connection errors and warnings resulting from the conversion into EDAMS software.

This training was an extraordinary opportunity for PUCs’ representatives to achieve cooperation that will ensure their commitment to further work on improving the PUCs’ asset management based on the established asset register. It is also the basis for further improvement of the asset management process and the adoption of high quality decisions by the PUCs’ managers.
